Scotland - Berrybrae

 

Location – Aberdeenshire (Grampian). Near Strichen.

Description - Reconstructed recumbent Stone Circle. The date of construction unknown. All the stone is local granite. The site is on a slight rise and a wide platform was dug out before the stones were placed. The ring is believed to have been ‘vandalised’ in about 1700BC. (15).
